Dear Real Estate Agent:

It’s my understanding that you are already either a part of a traditional real estate brokerage or working to create your own team. Naturally, your goal is to become successful in the industry, which means making six-figure incomes annually and being able to support your family in the lifestyle you’ve always dreamed of.

How has that been going for you? Research has shown that 87% of real estate agents fail to gain traction or become so overwhelmed in the business that they leave within their first two years. Many leave because they’ve fallen prey to the false promises of quality leads, coaching, and support that so many brokerages offer.

It might be that you’re experiencing problems like these at this very moment in your own career. If that is the case, you may have found yourself in a cycle of worry that so many other agents have—worries about where your next deal will come from, how you’ll pay your bills, feed your family and pay your rent, etc.

This rut is exhausting, both financially and mentally. It can wear you down and put immense strain on your personal life. If you don’t solve it soon, you might have to admit defeat and return to the life of a 9-to-5 job. Or you could bounce from brokerage to brokerage, hoping in vain that each one will offer you the resources to be successful while you work part-time to make ends meet—which never works. And if you don’t find a sustainable source of income, the weight of your debts will only continue to grow on your shoulders.

But real estate doesn’t have to be that way.

We are looking for full-time, dedicated real estate professionals with at least one year of experience under their belt to join our team and begin their path to success.

Enough bouncing around and trying to buy small-scale leads from sites like Zillow! Stop relying on your friends and family to provide you referrals, and leave the old-school methods of generating real estate in the past.

On our team, if you can commit our Complete Agent Development Program for two years, you’ll be molded into a high-level real estate professional. We’ll teach you exactly what to say and how to say it.

I can say with certainty that no other brokerage offers complete agent development. Many brokerages will give you a business, brand, or system to work with, but they lack a development program that will ensure that you know how to take those resources and turn them into a long-lasting, fruitful career. Some companies do offer coaching, but they make you pay extra for it.

Here’s what joining our team will look like for you:

  • You’ll meet our Director of Operations, who will set you up on the Texas Real Estate Commission.
  • You’ll review and sign the necessary paperwork, including independent contract agreements, basic team agreements, office policies, and procedures, etc.
  • You’ll meet with our Director of Production, who will help set up your Dotloop account and contract management system.
  • You’ll meet with our Director of Sales, who will help you get acquainted with our CRM and set up your sales platform.

Your first day will consist of watching training videos, learning how to use our systems, and watching others in the office to learn from them and get to know us.

As part of agent development, our new agents go through a kind of six-month bootcamp, which involves:

  • Coming to the office at 8 a.m. for conversation practice
  • Learning how to use our systems at a high level
  • Weekly accountability meetings with our leadership team
  • Weekly peer group meetings with others in our Complete Agent Development Program
  • Weekly masterminds and book club meetings
  • Working with both the leads you’ve prospected yourself and the ones we provide you

As you can see, agent development is just what we do here at AE Realty. And we don’t charge annual or monthly fees to agents like other brokerages, either. However, like most things in life, the pathway to our dreams can only be traveled if you put in the time and the energy to get there. If you can stick with it, I guarantee that you’ll find success within your first six months to a year with us. By “success”, I mean you’ll get at least 36 annual transactions, which roughly translates to netting $110,000, assuming that you work in the average price point of $200,000. We have a vested interest in helping you get there because if you don’t win, we don’t either.

But don’t just take my word for it; let the success stories of some of my agents speak for themselves, and you can be the judge.

One of my agents was a waitress just three years ago, and a single mom with three kids, to boot. After undergoing my agent development program, she just last year netted over $160,000.

Another agent had been at a brokerage for over 10 years, with little success—he never netted more than $20,000 or $30,000 in a given year. However, after joining our team, he earned over $60,000 in his first year. By his third year, he was making six figures. Just last year, he earned $180,000. Since then, he’s been able to start his own team and is currently one of the most productive agents in the city of San Antonio.
